“The reason I have only ever practised in family/defacto law throughout my entire career, is quite simply, because I love what I do. As a result, I am very passionate about all clients who walk through my door which drives me to achieve the best outcome possible in each and every case.”
Background and Expertise
Katrina has practised exclusively in the area of family and defacto relationship law since her admission as a Solicitor in 1999. Katrina became an Accredited Family Law Specialist on 7 October 2005.
As a result of Katrina’s experience, she has extensive knowledge in all areas of family law, with particular interest in complex property and children’s matters.
Katrina has regularly presented relationship breakdown seminars throughout Queensland, and has had various articles published both in legal and non-legal publications. Katrina is also a regular guest speaker on 4BC 1116AM radio. Katrina’s radio segments on family law issues have proven to be highly successful, with her down to earth, yet specialised commentary being a hit with listeners.
Oner Family Law was established by Katrina on 1 July 2012 and is a well respected, specialist boutique family law firm where Katrina’s aim is to achieve the best possible results for her clients.
Before opening her practice, Katrina worked as a family lawyer in a big city firm. From there, she very successfully, as a Partner, ran a family law practice in a mid-sized city firm.

Chloe was admitted as a Solicitor in February 2024 and has worked exclusively in the area of family law since January 2023.
The first 10 years of Chloe’s career were spent in aviation and construction before Chloe developed an avid interest in the law.
